SAYDO Service Terms
These terms form the agreement between you and Amax Digital (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2021/365987/07, a private company registered in the Republic of South Africa and trading as SAYDO ("SAYDO", "we", "us" or "our"), for use of the SAYDO website, dashboard and WhatsApp service. By creating an account, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not register or use SAYDO. The checkout page, selected plan, final price and these reproducible terms together form your order record.
1. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and link only a WhatsApp number that you control or are authorised to use. An administrator may prepare a Trial invitation only after confirming that you requested or authorised it. The account remains pending until you use its one-time link, choose your own password and accept these Terms and the WhatsApp-service consent. Keep your password and verification codes confidential. You are responsible for activity through your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
2. WhatsApp consent and messages
Registration or invitation acceptance asks separately for your consent to receive SAYDO account, verification, service, usage, credit and billing messages on the WhatsApp number you provide. An administrator-authorised invitation may send one approved service template telling you to check your email. Control of the number is confirmed only when you send its single-use LINK code to SAYDO; until then, it cannot use SAYDO AI processing. SAYDO does not buy contact lists or send unsolicited marketing messages. An unregistered person who first messages the official SAYDO number may receive one limited reply explaining how to register or get help. Promotional messages require separate consent where law or WhatsApp policy requires it.
You can withdraw WhatsApp consent at any time by sending STOP to SAYDO, emailing info@saydo.co.za, or closing your account in the dashboard. STOP suspends WhatsApp processing and queued requests for that number but preserves dashboard access and retained records. Re-enabling WhatsApp requires fresh dashboard consent and a new LINK proof. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. SAYDO sends free-form service replies only within the user-initiated WhatsApp service window and uses an approved template where WhatsApp requires one for an outbound initiation.
3. What SAYDO does
SAYDO processes messages sent to its official WhatsApp number. Supported voice notes can be transcribed; text can receive an AI response; and supported images or files can be analysed after you provide a question. Replying to an earlier SAYDO message may provide that referenced content as context. Searchable memory is optional and remains isolated to the linked account. Send SUPPORT for a direct human-support email path.
AI and transcription output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Check important facts and do not rely on SAYDO as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or safety advice. SAYDO is not an emergency service and cannot contact emergency services for you. Availability, supported formats and features may change as the service develops.
4. Acceptable use
Use SAYDO lawfully and only with content you have the right and authority to process. If content concerns another person, you must have a lawful basis and give any notice or obtain any permission required before submitting it. Do not use SAYDO for spam, bulk or unsolicited messaging, harassment, fraud, impersonation, malware, unlawful surveillance, infringement, attempts to bypass limits or security, or access to another person’s account or data.
Do not use SAYDO to buy, sell, market or facilitate illegal goods or services, firearms, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, gambling, adult services, exploitative lending, deceptive schemes or any category prohibited by applicable WhatsApp policies. Do not send full payment-card numbers, financial-account numbers, government identifiers, authentication secrets or health information where applicable law prohibits its use on WhatsApp. Do not submit child sexual abuse material or content that exploits or endangers children. We may reject content and restrict or suspend use reasonably believed to threaten users, the service, third parties, Meta/WhatsApp policy or the law, and may report content where legally required.
5. Plans, credits and recurring payments
The one-time Individual Trial lasts 14 days and includes 10 credits. A self-registered Trial starts after email verification; an administrator-created Trial starts when the administrator creates it, even if the invitation is accepted later. It ends when either its time or credits are exhausted and does not renew automatically. The service characteristics, final South African rand price, allowance and billing interval displayed before checkout form part of your order. Displayed consumer prices are final: SAYDO does not add a further tax amount at checkout. A tax invoice will identify VAT only where Amax Digital (Pty) Ltd is registered and legally entitled to charge it. Before payment you can review the selected plan and price, correct your selection or abandon checkout. Paid subscriptions are month-to-month and renew through PayFast until cancelled. Completing checkout records your online authorisation for the displayed recurring amount, frequency and approximate charge date.
Each confirmed paid subscription payment grants the displayed monthly allowance for one month from that payment. Unused monthly plan credits expire when that one-month billing period ends and do not roll over. A top-up can be purchased only while an active paid SAYDO subscription is in its current paid period. Purchased top-up credits are used after monthly credits and remain valid for three years from purchase or until fully used. Ending a subscription prevents further top-up purchases but does not shorten the stated validity of top-ups already purchased.
Credits are not cash and cannot be transferred, subject always to consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The request accepted while enough credit is available may finish even if it consumes the final credit. Further processing pauses until eligible credits are available or a new monthly allowance starts. Dashboard access to retained records remains available when a Trial or paid entitlement lapses.
6. Cancellation, cooling-off rights, failed payments and refunds
You may cancel a paid subscription in the dashboard at any time without a cancellation fee. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. PayFast may retry a declined recurring payment or require a card update; SAYDO may pause paid processing after any displayed grace period.
A first payment may be refunded within seven days if no paid credits have been used. Where you ask SAYDO to begin providing digital services immediately, any statutory exception for a service begun with your consent may apply; this sentence does not remove a cooling-off, refund or quality-of-service right that the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, Consumer Protection Act or another law gives you. Duplicate or incorrect charges, and paid periods during which SAYDO could not provide the purchased service, will be investigated and refunded where appropriate. Used credits are not refundable except where law requires otherwise. Approved refunds are ordinarily processed within 5–10 business days, subject to the payment provider.
7. Your content and service technology
You retain rights in content you submit. You give the SAYDO operator a limited permission to receive, store, transmit and process it only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service, comply with your instructions and meet legal obligations. You warrant that you have the rights and authority needed for submitted content. SAYDO software, branding and service design remain the operator’s property.
Meta/WhatsApp, OpenAI, PayFast, hosting and email services are independent third-party services with their own terms, policies and availability. Your use of WhatsApp remains subject to WhatsApp’s terms and messaging rules. You may not use SAYDO in a way that causes SAYDO or its operator to breach those rules.
8. Privacy, deletion and security
The Privacy Notice explains what information is processed, the recipients, retention and your rights. Dashboard and WhatsApp controls can clear supported memory or history. Verified account-deletion requests are completed within 30 days, except for records that must be retained for tax, fraud prevention, security, dispute or other legal purposes. We use reasonable safeguards and maintain a security-incident process, but no online system is risk-free.
9. Availability and liability
SAYDO is provided with reasonable care but uninterrupted, error-free service or preservation of every message is not guaranteed. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits or decisions made solely from unverified AI output. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer rights or loss caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
10. Changes, transaction records, complaints and governing law
Material changes to these terms, pricing or recurring charges will be communicated before they take effect where required. Your dashboard and payment confirmations provide the available transaction record; you may save or print these terms. Service begins after the required account verification, number linking and eligible Trial or confirmed payment are complete; individual automated requests are normally processed promptly but depend on supported third-party providers. South African law governs these terms. Contact info@saydo.co.za with service, billing, cancellation, privacy or consent requests so we can investigate and respond. This internal complaint route does not prevent a complaint to the Information Regulator, National Consumer Commission, an applicable ombud or a court.
11. Supplier information
SAYDO is supplied by Amax Digital (Pty) Ltd (registration 2021/365987/07), a South African private company.
